ime To Make Wine is a licensed urban winery where YOU can be the winemaker! Formerly known as The Grape Escape, Time To Make Wine opened in 1996. We make all of our wines right here in Fort Myers from juice purchased from vineyards around the world; California, Washington State, Australia, France, Italy and South Africa to name a few.  With a few exceptions, you can make all of the same fine wines that you can purchase by the bottle.

We provide all the equipment, supplies and information you need to make great tasting wine and have hours of fun doing it. Our on premise facility provides temperature, humidity and light controlled space for primary fermenting, secondary fermenting and bulk aging. Bottling of the finished wine is completed with our electric vacuum pump bottle fillers and pneumatic corker. Custom labels and shrink caps are also available.

Over the past 15 years, Time To Make Wine has enjoyed continued growth. We now serve more than 1,000 customers with a staff of three full-time and two part-time wine consultants. We have a wonderful new 2,400 square foot facility in an easy to reach location in Fort Myers.

Making your own wine provides better value that buying commercial wine, fewer preservatives (sulfites) than commercial wine and is a great way to recycle your wine bottles! All you need to contribute is time and patience.
